Rachel Plotkin

Picture
Rachel started writing at a young age. Since she and her family could remember her imagination seemed to never end, it was filled with non stop stories that she would tell at any chance she could get. Her first story (Mrs. Bee), was a short story she wrote when she was nine years old. The story consisting of ten pages, took us through an adventure about the loss of a mother, slavery, rape, and hope; something most nine year old's are not yet introduced to.

Since then Rachel has written over thirty completed books; which have yet to be published, and has started hundreds of unfinished stories. Her first published book (J&N), was a fan fiction made from the world of Stephenie Meyer, the book sold over 200 in the first day before it was retracted by Rachel in order to stay away from any copyright infringement.

"The book was never meant to cause problems, it was merely a story written in my head after reading Meyer's Breaking Dawn. As soon as I realized it could cause problems I took it down."

Aside from the small, temporary drama Rachel is still on track with two books set to come out next year. Empty, a romance thriller about a ghost and girl and Wannabe Princess, a story of the 'steps' it takes to finally get everything you want.
